How to change over your litter

Old litter, your time in the box is up. We are not doing the whole "let's stay friends" thing. All the best for the future...

DAY 1	25% POOWEE!, 75% old litter Start by mixing a small amount of POOWEE! into your cat's current litter.
DAY 3	50/50 Equal parts. This is usually where curious cats start sniffing around with approval.
DAY 5	75% POOWEE!, 25% old litter Almost there.
DAY 7	100% POOWEE! Full switch. Clean box, happy cat, no fuss.

Does this transition method work for all litter types?

Yes. Whether you are switching from clay, clumping, crystal, silica, paper, wood, tofu, or corn-based litter, the gradual method works the same way.

My cat is taking longer than expected to adjust. Is that normal?

Completely. Some cats switch without blinking, others need a bit more time. If your cat needs two weeks instead of one, that is fine. Go at their pace.

Can I just switch all at once?

Some cats handle a cold turkey switch with no issues at all. If your cat tends to be adaptable, you might be fine. That said, the gradual method is the safest bet and only takes a week, so it is worth doing if you are unsure.
